Financial Information

The ministry is a not for profit 501-c3 ministry.  We are self supportive and rely on donations to keep the ministry running.  We currently have no organizations that support us on a regular basis.  Our support comes from ordinary individuals.  Since the ministry was started over 4 years ago, we have had an average of 3 to 4 monthly contributors.  These monthly contributions have averaged around $200.00 a month.  Our other funds come from individuals who send us donations from time to time or monies that occasionally just come in out of the blue.  We also have some opportunities to speak, lead retreats and mission groups.  If we receive any funds from these opportunities, they are placed into the ministry budget. As you might could imagine, trying to run a ministry with very little resources can be a struggle, especially trying to create a budget without ever knowing what is coming in from month to month.  Last year our ministry was operated on a little over $14,000 from donations.  100% of the funds raised went to the ministries operations.  Although, the ministry is a full time operation and has a small staff, it does not have any paid employees. At this time, we can only afford to use volunteers.

One might read the above financial information and think that the ministry is desperately struggling and must not being doing much.  Please take a minute to look at our photo section to see what God can do with a group of folks that have little resources, but have great faith! (Matthew 21:21)  The ministry is truly doing mighty things.  It is a true testimony of how God blesses those who trust Him.

So how can a ministry do so much with so little?  Great Faith!  We also have great respect for the limited resources given.  Keeping cost extremely low is the main key to the ministry’s success.  Most ministries largest expense is their salaries and benefits for its employees.  We rely on volunteers to accomplish everything.  When we do projects, we choose them based on the costs.  We try and find projects that can be accomplished by us just providing free labor, while the project benefactor provides the materials.  The ministry is committed to running itself on a strict “shoestring” budget.  We have also made a commitment at the very beginning to never incur debt. If we need something, we ask the Father.  He either gives it to us through His people or He doesn't.  Believe us, He does provide for His children. (Matthew 6:31-33)  We have countless stories of how we have been in need and Him providing.  As an example, we had no vehicle, He provided two.  No loans, free to the ministry!  To others, operating in this manner means that ministry will never grow.  To us it means, when hard times come (like the current economic situation), the ministry will remain stable.

We feel that God has given us such a great witnessing opportunity for those with little resources to accomplish great things.  However, He has shown us so much need and how we can help address it.  This is our biggest concern.  How can we get more resources to help more of His people?  Please pray that the ministry will start receiving more resources so that we can do much more.  Again, please take the time to look at the photo section on this site.  See what great and mighty things God has done through this ministry that has so little.  Then think about how much we could accomplish with more resources.  If you would like to help us grow in serving God’s people, please click on the “How You Can Help” link on the left.  If you ever have any questions or concerns about how your donations are being used, we strongly encourage you to come and visit and see first hand.  We welcome this, because just as we must be good stewards of His resources, you need to make sure you are too.

Matthew 21:21(NIV)

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.

Matthew 6:31-33 (NIV)

So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
