Food for Haiti

Following the month after the devastating earthquake in Haiti, along with over 500 volunteers, we raised funds, packaged and sent over 100,000 meals to those in great need. In addition to the nutritional food packs, we also sent many tents as well as other needed supplies.  After the supplies were packaged, we drove them to Fort Pierce, Fl to be flown to Haiti by Missionary Flights International.  MFI flies the supplies to Haiti where they are received and placed into a private hanger in Port Au Prince own by Missionary Aviation Fellowship.  Once on the ground in Haiti, missionaries there come to the hanger and retrieve their supplies.  There is no "red tape" or bureaucracy and the supplies are getting to those in need, not sitting on the runway as many supplies have been doing.  Thanks to all the many volunteers that help us help those in need.  We will be packing food at least one more time, depending on the money raised at an all day benefit that will be held at the Red Fern Village on Saint Simons Island March 20th.

The following video is a progression of events from ordinary folks preparing food and tents, all the way to them being received and used in Haiti.
